This is very meta: News Corporation’s iOS-only newspaper The Daily has produced a spin-off app devoted to the new Angry Birds game. It’s called The Daily’s Angry Birds Space Guide, and is billed as “the exclusive companion publication for Angry Birds Space”.

It’s live ahead of the game’s launch on 22 March, and includes information on the game’s new characters, behind-the-scenes videos and interviews, and a bunch of content from Rovio’s partner NASA.

“Learn some awesome stuff about space, play with images of real NASA equipment, and check out a 360-degree photo of the Milky Way…” The free app is also an ongoing thing, with more content to come after the game launches.
