Zynga hasn’t yet put its full cross-promotion grunt behind newly-acquired game Draw Something, but it continues to grow apace. The publisher says that more than 50m people have now downloaded the Facebook-fuelled Pictionary-style title – meaning it has added 15m downloads since Zynga bought its developer OMGPOP on 21 March. It’s still hitting around 1m daily downloads, in other words, while also generating 3k drawings every second according to Zynga.
At the time of writing (5 April) AppData stats show Draw Something has 14.3m daily active users, although the concern for Zynga is that this has bumped along at around the same level since 26 April, while daily active users as a percentage of monthly active users (a key stat in the social games world) has been falling from 70% in early March to under 45% now.
