More big forecasts for smartphone growth? We’ve got ‘em! Credit Suisse reckons that 687.9m smartphones will be sold globally this year, up 46% year-on-year. The company also predicts that annual sales will top 1.05bn units by 2014, fuelled by strong growth in China in particular, which it sees accounting for 22% of shipments by 2015.

In the nearer term, Credit Suisse thinks Apple’s iPhone will take a 23% market share this year, but that Nokia’s comeback will also be pretty successful, taking it back to 11% market share in the long term.
