Apple has confirmed that 12 more countries will be getting its new iPad this week, with South Korea being the key one, alongside Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela. South Korea is interesting because there’s a well-developed 3D games scene there, which in theory should be champing at the bit to make the most of the device’s beefier processor and Retina display. Meanwhile, next week the new iPad rolls out in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand as Apple pushes for its fastest global rollout yet for its tablet brand.
