The latest popular children’s book series to get appy is Princess Poppy, following 2m sales of the print editions. Random House has worked with developer Robot Media on Princess Poppy Picture Books, which costs £1.99 and comes with one story: Ballet Shoes, voice-narrated by actress Tamzin Outhwaite. Two more picture books are available as in-app purchases though: The Birthday and Twinkletoes, following the pattern seen in apps like Ladybird Classic Me Books.
