UK/US apps publisher Touch Press has launched its latest impressive book-app, tying into the Royal Collection’s exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomy drawings that kicks off tomorrow (4 May). The app includes all 268 pages from da Vinci’s notebooks in zoomable high-resolution, as well as English translations of his notes, story chapters by Windsor Castle’s senior curator of prints and drawings, 3D anatomical models based on the drawings, and expert interviews. It’s a whopping 1.7GB download for iPad, and is being sold for £9.99. Which, interestingly, is 74p more than a ticket to the actual exhibition.
