Social mobile gaming startup Frenzoo has announced a $1m funding round, with Efficient Corporate, Siemer Ventures, K5 Ventures and Metaverse Services all chipping in. The company is focusing on “3D lifestyle and fashion” games for girls on iOS and Android, starting with its Me Girl range. “We believe there is a tremendous opportunity to combine the best of mobile gaming with the world of fashion and lifestyle,” says CEO Simon Newstead. “Our goal with Me Girl is to dressup glamour and emotional appeal to create fun, accessible gaming experiences.” The company has also added former Mattel and Harmonix executive Doug Glen to its board of directors.Source: Frenzoo
