The flow of picture-book apps for children onto iOS continues, with two high-profile examples live today. Mog the Forgetful Cat comes from HarperCollins: a digitisation of its physical book of the same name by Judith Kerr. Animation is included, as well as the ability to record your own voice narration. Video recording is an interesting addition too, though. Meanwhile, Princess Petal and the Trapdoor is the work of UK firm Attic Sound & Music: an interactive story of a princess who doesn’t want to stay in her room. In this case, the key selling point is voice narration from CBeebies presenter Cerrie Burnell.
