Nokia continues to focus on apps as a key way of differentiating its Lumia Windows Phone devices from… Well, from whatever other Windows Phone handsets are gathering dust in their wake. Its latest Lumia-exclusive is Nokia Reading, a combined e-books store and reader. It’s launching initially in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Spain with a mixture of paid and free e-books to download. Nokia says audiobooks and a feature called News Stream will be added in the future. The latter “will offer a virtual news magazine, making subscribing to and enjoying local and international RSS feeds simpler and more beautiful than ever before”. So it’s e-books meets Flipboard, then.
