Hands up, we’ve never heard of the Mashbox show, or the Myx TV channel that it airs on. We’re impressed by the sound of its new iPhone app MashBox Live though, which focuses on “sharing and receiving information while you are watching the show”. Examples: “Like what a star or guest is wearing? With a few taps, you can buy it right then and there from your iPad or iPhone. Go beyond the interview and get more information when you want it! Music downloads, behind the scene videos, bio info…all at your fingertips.” And there are deals and competitions too, as well as the ability to “bookmark any part of the show and save it to watch again later”.
