The battle for original TV shows for the web is well and truly on, with YouTube, Netflix and Hulu the key participants. Hulu has just announced several original and exclusive shows, including a movie reviews series hosted by director . He says he’s keen to get viewers fully involved, too. “Hulu really lends itself well to a show like this because they have an audience that is passionate and active when it comes to shows they love,” he says. Also new: Dazed and Confused filmmaker Richard Linklater is making a travel series for Hulu, while America’s Next Top Model co-creator Kenya Barris brings a comedy. Hulu has also signed up some Britcoms, including Rev and Pramface.
