Blippar has published some numbers on its recent augmented reality partnership with Stylist magazine

Stylist’s Olympic-themed issue had icons on 21 pages which, when pointed at using Blippar’s AR app, offered multimedia and interactive content. Blippar says that 7% of the magazine’s readership tried out the AR features, making 152k ‘blipps’ in total.

That’s more than 26.5k readers and 5.8 blipps each, with 36% of all the blipps coming from the front page’s synchronised swimming routine. A feature on trainers with ‘click to buy’ features accounted for 6% of blipps, although there’s no news on how many of those turned into purchases.
