If the idea of an educational game still makes you quiver with fear, then help might be at hand: Rovio has released an update to its popular Angry Birds Space game with 20 new levels set on Mars, as well as educational content.
The update comes about thanks to a partnership between Rovio and NASA and ties in with current interest in the Red Planet. Alongside exploding volcanoes and a new astronaut pig, the game includes links to NASA’s web pages about Mars exploration, as well as other space missions mentioned in the game.
Angry Birds Space has already proved a massive hit, passing 10m downloads in three days and 100m in 76.
