Mobile games firm Red Robot Labs says its Life Is Crime location-based mafia game has notched up 4.3m downloads on iOS and Android in its first year: 2m on Android and 2.3m on iOS.
The announcement came as the company unveiled its next game, Life Is Magic. As you may have guessed from the name, the theme will be less mobsters, more wizards. VentureBeat fleshes out the details with screenshots showing beefier 3D graphics for the new game.
Life Is Crime is the 163rd Top Grossing game on the US iPhone App Store at the time of writing. Earlier this month, Red Robot Labs announced plans to invest $2m to support third-party developers making games using its R2 location platform.
