Zynga has recruited Maytal Ginzburg Olsha from online gambling company 888 to head up its own real-money gambling operations.

The former 888 SVP of corporate and regulated markets has become CEO of new markets for Zynga, where she will help to bridge the gap between Zynga’s existing social casino business and the tricky – and heavily regulated – world of gambling for real money.

Zynga confirmed in July it was set to move into real-money gambling, with the first Zynga products in this field expected in the first half of next year.
