Remember Project Magazine? It was part of an exciting new wave of magazines made for tablets, rather than converted from print editions. Initially launched by Virgin Digital Publishing, that company later merged with startup Other Edition.
How is the men’s lifestyle magazine doing now? Well, check out its reviews on the UK App Store.
“For me subscription never worked… I paid for a subscription and have had nothing, no magazine and they are not returning my emails… Doesn’t work, lost £20 worth of mags I can’t read any longer…”
The app is currently averaging 1.5 stars from 19 ratings on the App Store of its current version, and its Facebook Page and Twitter feed haven’t been updated at all in 2012, even though new issues have been published in that time.
It’s not surprising people paying £13.99 for an annual subscription are complaining.
