The Galaxy Note II has sold three million units in just 37 days, according to Samsung.

This means the new device is selling at around three times the rate of the original Galaxy Note “phablet”, which shifted 5m units in five months following its release in October 2011 and passed 10m sales in August.

It’s fair to say Samsung is on something of a roll of late: in October the company said it was set to announce record profits of £4.5bn for Q3 thanks to the success of the Galaxy S III.
