Samsung’s Galaxy S III has now sold more than 30m units, beating the company’s own predictions by some two months.

The milestone, which Samsung apparently revealed on its Polish Twitter account then rapidly deleted, means that it has sold 10m S III devices in just two months. In September, Samsung said it had sold 20m S IIIs, with IT and mobile chief Shin Jong-kyun stating, “The Galaxy S3 is expected to sell more than 30 million units within this year.”

The latest success comes just days after Samsung revealed it had sold 3m Galaxy Note II devices in little over a month.
