Sony’s iOS Reader has arrived on the App Store, almost two years after Apple initially rejected the app.
Back in January 2011 the app failed to win Apple’s approval, as it included a link to Sony’s online book store. The long delay presumably saw some epic to-ing and fro-ing between the two companies, although Sony has not commented on the near two year wait.
The new app – which is yet to be released on the UK App Store – does not appear to contain any buy links, instead allowing users to access their own Sony eBook collection. It also includes the standard line up of intuitive navigation, adjustable font size, book marks et al.
