Publisher Harper Collins has released a new version of its Official Scrabble Words app for the iPad.

The app follows the Official Scrabble Words iOS app onto the App Store and appears to offer largely the same line up of word checker, training mode and the option to solve the most difficult tile combinations.

The iPad app is, however, “created and designed for iPad”, according to its App Store description and presumably takes advantage of the iPad’s larger screen.
