Tactilize, which enables users to publish and share interactive content on the iPad, has secured $1m in funding, with plans to raise an additional $280,000 in the current round.
The ongoing nature of the funding makes details somewhat sparse – the company will only say that funders come from Switzerland and the Middle East and that one of them is the founder of a tech company himself, TechCrunch reports. There are, however, no details on what the funding will be used for the moment.
The company’s CEO Nicolas Voisin told TechCrunch, “A $1m investment round completed within just a few weeks of our launch supports our belief that Tactilize is an industry changing ‘disrupter.’
“We’ll be finalising additional funding in the upcoming days to bring our total raised to $1.28 million, which will help us in our mission to revolutionise the way people produce and distribute content for the iPad.”
