Top Gear Magazine has got so excited about Aston Martin’s One-77 model that it has created a free one-off magazine app based on the £1.2m “hypercar”.
The app, which follows the magazine’s “world exclusive” first drive of the car in its August issue, includes high-definition photos of the One-77 on the move, video content, audio of the car’s 7.3 litre V12 engine at work and the opportunity to delve beneath the One-77’s skin.
“When it unveiled its 220mph, 750bhp hypercar, Aston vowed the only people to get behind the wheel would be the 77 billionaire owners: no test drives, no reviews, no journalists,” the app’s description reads. “Unfortunately no one told Top Gear magazine, who quietly ‘borrowed’ a One-77 and set off at pace across the Dubai desert to bring you this stunning free app.”
The app, from publisher BBC Worldwide, is also available offline.
