Time Inc’s People magazine has launched a new celebrity news app for iOS.

The People CelebWatch app gives users up-to-the-minute celebrity news and star profiles. The app itself is free, although to access content users must either subscribe to People magazine or buy an app subscription, for $0.99 a month / $9.99 a year.

Users can also customise their feed to display news and Tweets from their favourite stars.
