Educational publisher Kids Discover, which specialises in science, social studies and reading for children, has launched its monthly magazine on the iPad.
The Kids Discover… magazine covers subjects from the worlds of science, space, nature, history and culture, with each issue exploring one specific topic. Antarctica, Galaxies and Washington DC are the first to launch on iPad, with Cells, Weather and Oceans all to come. The iPad editions include interactive 3D models, high-definition video and audio, quizzes, puzzles and games.
Readers can buy individual issues for $2.99 or subscribe for $1.99 a month / $19.99 a year. All issues are completely ad-free.
Kids Discover was founded in 1991, with the goal of inspiring children to explore their natural curiosity and instilling a love of reading.
