waterslide-homeGerman firm Fishlabs was one of the first companies to make a splash – literally – in iOS advergaming with its Barclaycard Waterslide Extreme game (pictured), which has been downloaded 28m times so far.

Now the company has spun off a dedicated agency focused on “brand gaming”. It’s called Proelios, and is a joint venture with communications consultancy Character Communications.

“As an agency, we work closely with brand owners and partner agencies to integrate gaming into communications portfolios and campaigns,” claims its website.

“Proelios brand games are designed to bring the consumer closer to a brand through engaging gameplay, intuitive game architecture and high quality production.”

Fishlabs has worked on several driving games for Volkswagen that were released on the App Store, as well as Barclaycard Waterslide Extreme and Barclaycard Rollercoaster Extreme.
