Zynga has released the first new game from the developers of Draw Something since it bought OMGPop a year ago.
The new freemium game, What’s The Phrase, is available now for iPhone, with Android to come soon. It sees players guess the letters that form a hidden phrase, in a Wheel of Fortune-esque style. Gamers can also challenge their friends or even random opponents by logging in via Facebook. Bloomberg reports that former OMGPop CEO Dan Porter, who now heads Zynga’s mobile studio in New York, led development of the new game.
Zynga bought OMGPop for a rumoured $200m in March 2012, with a number of employees leaving the company following the acquisition.
